Considered by many historians to be the
world’s authority on the life of Henry Ford, Dr. Lewis has
authored hundreds of articles concerning Ford history. He also
writes a monthly column for Cars
and Parts magazine. His book, THE PUBLIC IMAGE OF HENRY
FORD, is a major contribution to the study of the business
accomplishments of Henry Ford.
Dr. Lewis is a founding member of the
Henry Ford Heritage Association. He has been Professor
of Business History at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor,
since 1965.
